To check the compatibility of the board and its enclosure, engineers have to convert 3D models into an intermediate format and exchange files and notes with each other. With every geometry update, they have to do it again. As a result, model verification can take up to 70% of the design time.
Rubius has developed an integration plugin that transfers data directly between ECAD and MCAD, and allows PCB and enclosure designers to work on one product at the same time.
